At the office of Alan S. Kuznick DMD we handle
Great Neck toothache emergencies and more at our offices in Berkley. Patients with toothaches or who have had a tooth knocked out, also known as a dislodged tooth, should call our office immediately.
A Great Neck toothache can be very painful. We handle all your dental emergencies and toothaches in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The toothache can be signified by pain around the tooth or gums or jaws and may be caused by something like a cavity or a cracked or broken tooth. Sometimes an exposed tooth root can cause toothaches as well. Symptoms include sensitivity to hot and cold liquids, pain and swelling, or redness in the gum area. Usually a toothache can be fixed with a filling, but if not we can extract the tooth before it becomes worse. Healing time is usually only a day or two, and the patient can go back to work and doing their normal activities within a day.
A
Great Neck toothache can be the cause of a dental emergency or can happen after cracks, chips or blows to the tooth, a tooth that has fallen out, or a chip in the tooth. A dental emergency can also mean a tooth has been dislodged from the mouth or pushed back into the socket. If this is the case, we may need to reposition the tooth. If the tooth is healthy, no other treatment is necessary, but if the tooth is damaged inside down to the pulp, a root canal may be required by our 94705 dentist. If you have a dental emergency, please don’t hesitate to call us right away to see if we can fit you into our schedule and get your tooth fixed as quickly as possible.
